The resilient elastomer is essential to the structure by providing micro-sealing of metal surface imperfections while resisting aggressive combustion gases, high compression, oils and coolants at temperatures up to 250°C. Available head gasketsB16A, D16, B18A & C, H22A, K20, GSR81mm or 82mm -- .020 thou for high compression all-motor builds or .040 thou for low compression turbo builds. D16A-D16Y8, D17 75 mm or 76 mm .020 thou for high compression all-motor builds or .040 thou for low compression turbo builds.
